- Do they have a favorite place to live?
- Do vampires still have DNA? (I hedged at this question once before, but I'm still not entirely satisfied...)

- Why did you make Leah a werewolf? Have young women always become werewolves, and they were just ignored in tribal legend because, generally, history is pretty darn patriarchal? Or is Leah the first? If she is the first, is it because of the number of newborns around, or is it for another reason?
- What kind of student is Jacob? We know that Bella tutors him, but are his grades good enough that he could attend college if he was interested one day? Is he interested in college currently? He seems pretty focused on the present, but he has to have some opinion....
- OK, so werewolves imprint, but normal tribe members do not. So what happens when one of those people decides to stop phasing forever? Does the imprint still exist? Or has it gone, but the two have formed a strong enough bond it's like regular love?
- Were you to tell a story about the "normal" ones in Forks, who would be worthwhile to hear about? Why?
- How did Renee & Charlie meet? Where?
- How did Renee pick Phoenix? (Other than, obviously, it's a little easier for the author)
- With which of your novels were you the most satisfied with your first draft? With which were you the happiest with the end result?
- Where do you write? Do you still mainly write at night? Do you have any other patterns or activities that help you prepare better?
- So, you've said before that you would prefer nothing permanent, so you would be rather a werewolf nor a vampire. But free will is important in your religion. Does this mean that in this one aspect, vampires are closer to what you believe is appropriate? Or would you argue that none of those mythical beings have free will in the way that is important to you?
And whine about what we hear too much.....
Which character do you like best?
She doesn't. She loves each of them differently. Duh.
Can you use my name in your books?
No. She can't use your baby sister or boyfriend's or anyone either. Write your own darn book and use those names if you want them to be famous that badly. Or write them into mediocre fanfic that involves love for you.
Is Edward a real person?
Yes, her first boyfriend was her true love and he also was sparkly. I'm being snarky. No, no he isn't based on anyone.
What authors do you like?
Jane Austen & Orson Scott Card & Shakespeare. And a whole bunch of others. Now go read them instead of asking over and over again in hopes that she'll change her answer.
But Bella doesn't really love Edward, right?
Um, even if she doesn't, Stephenie has made it pretty clear that Bella has made a CHOICE that will not be altered... and that choice involves Vampire Love with Edward.
Why did you make up new vampire rules?
Because.
How do you deal with writer's block?
Stephenie is lucky and doesn't really get it. (And I'm not being snarky on that one - that must be an amazing feeling!)
What advice does she have for aspiring writers?
Keep writing a lot and reading. Trust yourself.
When people encounter my sarcasm the first time, they often feel I'm in a bad mood. I'm not... I just like to feel a little snotty now and then. Hope I didn't offend anyone. :) Happy new year, lovelies!

1. Once a vampire moves near werewolves (to be), how long does it take the werewolves to start changing?
2. When will we get to see the chapters from Forever Dawn that she promised after Eclipse. She said..."Now, eventually, in the distant future, I will probably put up sections of Forever Dawn like I did with the Twilight outtakes. The reason I can't do this for a long time is because the plot line of Forever Dawn is still working as a loose skeletal outline for the rest of the series. In other words, it's chockfull of spoilers. So I won't be able to put any of it here on the site until I'm past that point in the story. After Eclipse is out (2007-fingers crossed), I'll be able to reveal the first pieces of Forever Dawn."
3. Do we know which of the five wolves killed Laurent? And related question- Was Jacob leading the pack or did Bella just notice him the most?
4. What did Edward say to Jacob to make him come back to the tent in Eclipse?

How many murders have each of the Cullen's committed?
We know: Carlisle-none, Rosalie-7, Edward & Jasper-a lot. But what about Emmett, Alice, and Esme? Rosalie says only Carlisle has a better record than herself which means they've each killed more than seven....
How did Carlisle react when Esme killed someone?
Has Stephenie ever said if vampires feel cold to each other (or hard)? I would imagine that it would be like two humans touching - it just feels like the normal temperature and texture, but would love to know Stephenie's thoughts on this.

I hadn't really liked her until this book, but her defense of Jacob, and hearing her side of the story was nice. She's a character I really like and want to be happy.
I have two questions !
What are the werewolf-race called if there are not 'real' werewolfs?
Can you see vampires breath when it's very cold? (If you know what I meen)
In the Twilight-movie (I can't remember if Stephenie mentions it in the book), when James is hunting Bella and Alice says to Edward: "I'll keep her safe Edward", and Edwa,rd answers: "Can you keep ypur thougts to yourself?". What was Alice then thinking?

1. I don't know if she has ever said their actual name, but Edward & Jacob had this discussion in Breaking Dawn and talked about how he was a shapeshifter. So... I guess we could just call them that? I'll try to remember to check in my novel.
2. I don't know at all if vampires' breath shows up when it's cold. I have my guesses (no, because they have a much lower body temperature naturally and the fluids in their body are different), but there has been nothing said to my knowledge that would confirm or refute this.
3. What do YOU think Alice was thinking? ;) Again, Stephenie has never answered this, but I personally think it has to do with Alice seeing Bella as a vampire and married to Edward in the future.
